Sarah Provancher is a small business owner who has been very active in the Louisville community as a volunteer with many non-profit organizations. Sarah has established a successful public relations and marketing company on downtown Louisville, Pro Communications, that works with clients throughout Louisville.

For her achievements as an entrepreneur and in promoting entrepreneurship in Louisville, Sarah was named a Forty Under 40 recipient in 2014 by Business First and a “Way to Go” Entrepreneurial Woman by Today’s Woman magazine.

Sarah is a member locally of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Greater Louisville Outstanding Women (G.L.O.W.), the Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce and the Metropolitan Republican Women’s Club.

Sarah has volunteered with numerous community organizations including serving as a past board member of the Louisville Metro Parks Foundation and current board member of Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville. Sarah has also served on the marketing committees for Brooklawn Child & Family Services, CP Kids Center and Louisville Orchestra. Sarah is also a founding committee member of the Fund for the Arts NeXt! Young Professionals – a group that educates young people about board service and community involvement in the arts.

Sarah is originally from Orlando, FL and graduated with a B.A. degree from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. After moving away from Florida, Sarah lived in Rockford, IL for 6 years where she worked as Chief Marketing Officer with the Rockford Public Library and Director of Theatre Operations with the Coronado Theatre of Performing Arts. Sarah was also volunteer President of the River District Downtown Association while in Rockford where she lead the development of the city’s Downtown Master Plan.

Sarah moved to Louisville with family 13 years ago and since, met and married her husband Joe Weber. Joe and Sarah reside in the Avondale neighborhood, where she is also active on her neighborhood board of directors. Joe is the Senior Art Director at Bisig Impact Group Advertising Agency and a watercolor artist. He is a previous Derby Festival poster artist and St. James poster artist. Sarah and Joe love getting out to Louisville’s great restaurants as much as they can and spending time with their huge extended family in Louisville cooking, watching football and riding their bicycles in Louisville’s beautiful parks.
